Hello O2 Relax, I wanted to write to you to thank you for my new hot tub. It is my first tub and I wanted to thank you for your help in choosing the right hot tub for me. I had £5k to spend and within talking to you I had a new hot tub installed in my back garden! I had my first tub party last weekend and although it wasn’t the warmest weather everyone had a great time and we stayed in the hot tub for most of the night
Thanks for all your help Martin. Kind regard, Alan Simpson.

Got a Hot Tub? Thinking of buying a Hot Tub? Looking to place a gazebo around your Hot Tub?
Well how about some furniture to complement your Hot Tub or Spa Pool? I prefer things to be plain and simple; I really like white furniture, I think it is especially nice in and around swimming pools, hot tubs and spa pool areas

Towels and robes need storage so where better than a quality hand made piece of furniture, after all if you have paid good money for a hot tub, swim spa, sauna or steam room then you want to add furniture that will last.
The tall drawer unit from New England Lifestyle is ideal for towel storage. The drawer unit consists of 5 drawers which are adequate to take all sizes of towels from beach to hand towels. Alternately if you are tight for space then why not look at a wardrobe/drawer unit. This type of unit is ideal for robes and towels and offers greater flexibility.
If you have no space concerns I would also look at the use of the large warbrobe from New England Lifestyle.
The nice thing with furniture from New England Lifestyle is they offer quick UK delivery and also give two hour time slots for delivery. Plus all the furniture packaging is taken away and recycled.

Q. I am siting my spa outdoors. What preparation do I need?
A. Your spa must be sited on a solid, flat, level base which is the same size or larger than the spa. The base can be either a 100mm concrete slab or suitably strengthened (at least 400mm centred bearers) timber decking or existing patio area assuming it has suitable foundations of hardcore as opposed to sand. Whatever base area is chosen, it must be of suitable load bearing capacity.
The spa must not be sited on bare earth or grass, as there is a risk of settling or subsidence.
You should also consider seasonal changes when siting your spa. For example, siting your spa under trees may look nice in the summer and provide plenty of privacy, but come autumn, you may find it difficult to keep your spa clean and come winter, you may lose your privacy.
For many people, privacy is an important factor if it poses a problem for you, you may wish to consider a gazebo or log cabin. Many of our customers have found a gazebo is ideal for privacy and as a changing facility for all year round use.
Q. Im having my spa Indoors. What preparation do I need?
A. If you have decided to site your spa indoors, it is important to ensure that the floor is of a suitable load bearing capacity to carry the weight of spa, water and occupants. The floor should be level and not be adversely affected by water. Carpeted or laminate floors are not suitable. A non-slip ceramic tiled floor is ideal.
Q. Do I need to add extra ventilation?
A. You need to ensure that there is plenty of ventilation to prevent moisture affecting your walls and ceiling. You may wish to consider purchasing a suitable de-humidifier to assist in this process and this is especially recommended if siting your spa in a log cabin or similar structure. Also, remember that your spa will require emptying every 12 to 14 weeks so there will need to be suitable drainage facilities nearby in order to empty your spa from the drain valve, located at the base of one side of your spa.
Q. How are the spas delivered?
A. O2 Relax spas are usually delivered on a 7.5 tonne lorry through a courier company. Please ensure that there is adequate access for such a vehicle to reach your property. The spas are delivered on a mobile skate which you keep to your driveway. You will need sufficient help to position the tub. The spas are transported on its side.
Q. I don’t have great access for my hot tub delivery?
A. You need to consider if there any steep slopes or walls that need negotiating? If so, extra help may be required. For larger walls or very steep slopes, a crane may be required. A crane or other mechanical means of lifting WILL be required for all larger spas over 2.50m square. Crane hire or other mechanical means will be at an additional cost and remain the responsibility of the purchaser. Please ensure that suitable insurance cover is available from whoever undertakes this process on your behalf.
Q. What electrical supply do I need?
A. All spas are normally delivered with a 16 amp plug. A socket then needs to be installed by an electrician to fit that plug. If you are having your spa installed, it will be necessary to have a dedicated electrical circuit supply fitted. You will require a 13, 20, 32 or 40 Amp supply, dependent on which spa model you have purchased. (For details, check the spa specification chart). Your spa must be protected via a RCD and suitable over current protection. This needs to be fed via a suitable cable to an IP Rated Isolator mounted a minimum of 2 metres from your spa. Any buried or exposed cable must be armoured and suitably installed. A minimum of 5 metres of cable is required for connection into your spa from the Isolator. This assumes the isolator is located 2 metres away from the spa. If this distance is extended then this cable length must be altered to ensure sufficient cable is available at the spa for connection into your spa from the Isolator.
We strongly advise that all electrical work be carried out by a qualified electrician in order that your warranty is not compromised.
Q. Do I need to plumb my hot tub?
A. No the best means of filling your spa is with a garden hosepipe. Please ensure that you have one readily available. If you are aware that your water pressure is poor, we should be advised prior to delivery. The design of our spas allows for easy drainage, again, using the hosepipe which conveniently fits onto the drain valve situated at the base of your spa. Ideally, you should empty the water to a nearby drain.
O2 Relax sell a wide variety of hot tubs and swim spas to suit everyone. All prices include delivery and VAT. Elite Spas is our other range and feature additonal features such as the wave seats which is great for back massage.
