Hot tubs are seen as an item that only wealthy people can really afford, people who have money coming out of there ears. But I feel it is no longer like that, anyone these days can grab themselves a portable hot tub. Yes portable hot tubs now exist in a wide variety of forms and they are just as good as the ones that are fixed into the ground. In my opinion they are actually better, the reason for saying this is because of the fact that many of the hot tubs run on batteries which actually do last for quite awhile. So a great benefit is that if you were to go on a weekly trip or a camping trip you would be able to bring your tub and just relax because they are not heavy at all. Most of them these days are usually made out of polypropylene foam which is very versatile and lightweight, causing the hot tub to only weigh around 80 pounds so the average weight would be around the same as a person.

Another great thing about portable hot tubs is the fact that they are so easy to install, it usually takes around 30 minutes to get one ready. The best thing to do would probably be too leave it on a flat surface so that the water can run through easily and not overflow. If you are interested in purchasing a hot tub there are a few things to consider:

If you have seen a potable hot tub you like make sure it has the features you are looking for. Hot tubs come with a wide variety of different features these days such as wave generators, ergonomic back seats, CD players and DVD’s, so you don’t have to just accept a basic version. Secondly you should check how much it is going to cost you to maintain, its alot like a car really if you buy a Ferrari it will cost you much more to maintain than a fiat, so ask the company whether it will be expensive to service and maintain. Additionally another tip to remember is what type of jets you would actually like to use. A different array of jets can give remedies for all types of pains and aches such as your back leg or neck, they can even help anxiety and arthritis.

All in all I think the portable hot tub market is ever expanding and full of styles and sizes, so remember to shop around to find the best deals.

I have been reading over a few articles where you can now obtain eco friendly green covers for your hot tubs. A statement that was made in one of them is that there is over 10 million spa owners in America and they all use foam insulated covers for their hot tubs. As these do not last long they get replaced and eventually end up on waste land. In a few years you will be able to fill up a whole country with the foam from the spa covers.

There are many more choices you can get these days instead of foam insulation, so when purchasing a cover do ask your vendor about the eco friendly options and do your part to help save the planet!

Hot Tubs have always been a great place for relaxation whether you are suffering from muscle strains to relieving stress. But it can get quite tedious and boring just sitting there on your own staring at the sky. Below are five things you can do to keep the boredom at bay.

  1. Get yourself a portable TV with an attached DVD player and while you are relaxing in the warm water watch one of your favourite movies. Try to choose a comedy or a romantic film as you want to stay in the relaxing zone, I don’t think a horror would help.
  2. Before you get into the hot tub go and grab yourself some snacks whether its nachos or popcorn eating is always a great way to kill time.
  3. Let a friend or family member join you, it’s always better to have someone to talk too.
  4. Disconnect your phone, pager and your MSN messenger, or whatever else you have got to stop people contacting you. Plug in some soothing music and close your eyes and relax.
  5. Well finally you knew it was coming that’s what you have been reading for isn’t it? So have sex in the tub your number one stress reliever mixed with some loving is a sure win. Just be careful not to climax in the tub as it will all get a bit messy.
All our hot tubs can have DVD players, CD players or I Pod docks installed to them to help you relax and add to the experience.
