Can I fill my Hot tub when there is a water shortage?
According to the BBC Britain had its worst drought for over 100 years last year. The official statistics show the south east has less water per person than the desert states in Syria and Sudan while the country has less than the whole of Europe, apart from Belgium and Cyprus. With these staggering figures can you still top up your pools and hot tubs?
Water companies impose a ban on domestic use of hosepipes and sprinklers and don’t need permission from the government or environment agency to do so.
The good news was that during the hose pipe ban last summer you were still allowed to fill up your swimming pools and hot tub.
