Portable hot tubs are becoming a major fashion accessory, they are relaxing, affordable and best of all can be taken almost anywhere with you. People usually purchase a hot tub to relax and unwind. Sufferers of chronic diseases such as arthritis also use this as a way to ease there pains.

As good as hot tubs are there are some dangers that can lurk in the dark corners, if your tub is not maintained or run correctly. We will now take a look at a few aspects that can lead to a hazardous situation.

A lot of people like to use different temperatures of the hot tub, but to be safe; you should keep at a healthy heat and not overdo it. If you raise the temperature to a very high level, your skin can end up being damaged and potentially burnt. The general temperature that should be reserved is around 90-100 degrees.

Besides from burning your skin, having high temperatures can also cause a variety of other problems, particularly if you are suffering from aspects of high blood pressure. It has been medically stated, that constant high temperatures of heat and water can cause a dilation effect of the blood vessels.

With portable hot tubs you should also be careful not to trap your hands or fingers, while you are in the process of moving it around.

An additional aspect that you should remember is that these are portable hot tubs, so they are not as sturdy as the permanent fixtures. For that reason you should not overload the tub, as it may not be able to handle anything above the recommended weight, and it could in fact invalidate your warranty.

Hot tubs are a great way to relax, it has been said that spending 30 minutes a day in the hot tub will make you feel healthier and live longer. But do not take hot tubs for granted, just as with any other relaxation methods, you will have to take great care so you do not end up causing yourself injuries.

With a lot more people these days buying hot tubs, because of the sheer level of affordability that they now bring, there should now be a higher level of warnings, about what can and cannot be done. Such as putting temperature levels to a degree that will do a lot of damage. Remember you can relax and also be safe, there is no reason whatsoever in eliminating safety precautions when using a hot tub.

Hot tubs & Spas are seen as an item that only wealthy people can really afford, people who have money coming out of there ears. But I feel it is no longer like that, anyone these days can grab themselves a portable hot tub. Yes portable hot tubs now exist in a wide variety of forms and they are just as good as the ones that are fixed into the ground. In my opinion they are actually better, the reason for saying this is because of the fact that many of the hot tubs run on batteries which actually do last for quite awhile. So a great benefit is that if you were to go on a weekly trip or a camping trip you would be able to bring your tub and just relax because they are not heavy at all. Most of them these days are usually made out of polypropylene foam which is very versatile and lightweight, causing the hot tub to only weigh around 80 pounds so the average weight would be around the same as a person.

Another great thing about portable hot tubs is the fact that they are so easy to install, it usually takes around 30 minutes to get one ready. The best thing to do would probably be too leave it on a flat surface so that the water can run through easily and not overflow. If you are interested in purchasing a hot tub there are a few things to consider:

If you have seen a potable hot tub you like make sure it has the features you are looking for. Hot tubs come with a wide variety of different features these days such as wave generators, ergonomic back seats, CD players and DVD’s, so you don’t have to just accept a basic version. Secondly you should check how much it is going to cost you to maintain, its alot like a car really if you buy a Ferrari it will cost you much more to maintain than a fiat, so ask the company whether it will be expensive to service and maintain. Additionally another tip to remember is what type of jets you would actually like to use. A different array of jets can give remedies for all types of pains and aches such as your back leg or neck, they can even help anxiety and arthritis.

All in all I think the portable hot tub market is ever expanding and full of styles and sizes, so remember to shop around to find the best deals starting from
